The desk that manages Elbark Cruise has a second hull to look after from this season: LASHA, a 52.5-metre phinisi launched in 2023, begins its first public Komodo sailings on 17 August 2026 — Indonesia’s Independence Day.
Guests who know Elbark’s nine-cabin layout will recognise the family resemblance and the differences. LASHA carries ten ensuite cabins for up to 26 guests across four decks, and its two Master Suites add something rare in the Komodo fleet: an in-suite jacuzzi bathtub set against ocean-view windows, plus a second open-air jacuzzi on the sun deck. Full deck plans, cabin categories and transparent 2026–2027 rate tables are published on the vessel’s own site, Lasha Cruise — new luxury phinisi 2026.
The build follows the same Bugis tradition Elbark guests ask about on every crossing: an Ulin-ironwood and teak hull, 466 gross tons, twin masts rigged with cream gaff sails. Navigation and safety inventories mirror what the charter desk requires fleet-wide — AIS, EPIRB, two lifeboats, four 20-person liferafts and 54-channel CCTV.
Bookings for both vessels run through the same Komodo Luxury charter desk, so date holds, contracts and payment follow the identical written process described on our Elbark guide. For groups of 14 to 26 who found Elbark’s calendar full for July and August, LASHA’s maiden season opens a second set of dates in the national park.
